ELPU was excised from the University Advancement Centre (UAC) in 2006 with a mission to project a positive image of the university both nationally and internationally. This is in tandem with the university’s desire to build, strengthen and focus on teaching, research, technology transfer, innovation and community service.

Vision: To be the foremost university in Africa with an enviable international profile through Exchange and Linkage activities.

 

Our Functions

  • Identify and establish linkages with national and international institutions (tertiary institutions, research institutes, industry and Donor Agencies etc.) in order to promote capacity building, research and academic programme collaborations.
  • Coordinate existing exchange and linkage programmes and initiate new ones in respect of staff  and students study abroad programmes.
  • Draw up protocols and articles/memoranda of understanding between the university and other institutions taking part in the exchange and linkage programmes.
  • Coordinate the reception and welfare of exchange and linkage visitors.
  • Conduct annual evaluation of the unit’s activities and submit a comprehensive report to the Vice-Chancellor
