CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

 

  1. Obey the laws and regulation of the University including the matriculation oath.
     
  2. Respect the statutory rights of staff and students.
     
  3. Must not engage in or be a member of any secret cult.
     
  4. Must not sell/lease university hostel accommodation and other property to other students or person.
     
  5. Must not use classrooms and university property for unauthorized activities including religious meetings and parties
     
  6. Must register for all courses and attend not less than 75% of the lectures/ practical/ workshop/ clinical / examinations and switch-off all cell phones.
     
  7. Must not be involved in any form of examination malpractice including impersonation or aid/abet others in doing same.
     
  8. Must not offer money, sex or other enticement in exchange for higher grades or alteration/forgery of records/documents.
     
  9. Must not collect money; sell books/handouts on behalf of staff.
     
  10. Obey copyright laws and must not photocopy textbooks without the permission from authors/publishers.
     
  11. Dress decently and be polite to all staff and the general public.
     
  12. Should not do anything that will tarnish the image of the University.
