PROFILES OF THE UNIVERSITY SECURITY UNIT.

The mandate of the Security Unit is to ensure adequate emplacement of security in and around the University environ.

To supervise the activities of the Contract Security Companies hired to provide Security in and around the Campuses. To give orientation to fresher’s (Year One Students) to give security tips and talks periodically to Staff and Students. To settle disputes among Students and Staff.

ACTIVITIES OF SECURITY UNIT.

Part of the activities of the Security Unit is to provide security during the underlisted activities/ceremonies of the University.

1. During University Ceremonies ie Matriculation, and Convocation.

2. During Council and Senate Sitting

3. Students Social activities ie shows and Religious activities.

4. Supervise examination.
