University of Port Harcourt Governing Council tours the University College and Faculties: the 17th Governing Council of the University of Port Harcourt led by it's Chairman Distinguished Senator Mao Ohuanbunwo with the full complement of the entire Council undertook a working visit to the College of Health Sciences and the faculties in the University.
At each stop the Provost and Deans received the Council Chairman and members of the council and presented the activities, successes and challenges of their respective faculties.
The Chairman pledged his commitment to ensuring that all needed support for the development of the college and faculties are provided for optimal functioning while reminding all the staff at the various faculties of the need for always ensuring they do the right things at all times. While hardworking staff will be rewarded, staff who decide to flout the rules of the University will be sanctioned appropriately in line with the laws of the University.
