The ICTC Unit of the University of Port Harcourt has taken a significant leap forward with the commissioning of fully automated solar-powered digital infrastructure. This transformative initiative, made possible through the intervention of the Federal Government of Nigeria via the Federal Ministry of Education, underscores the Government's commitment to enhancing digital services and sustainability in higher education.
The state-of-the-art infrastructure not only automates critical digital systems but also leverages solar energy, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply to support the Center's operations.
The Director of ICTC, Professor Mary Iwundu, and the entire staff expressed their profound gratitude to the Federal Government for this groundbreaking intervention.
