Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for employment in the Ashgrove Academy. Ashgrove Academy (AA) is an Advanced Level School which seeks to offer a range of access courses into top Universities in the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Asia, Australia and Nigeria. The School is to prepare and equip candidates for international examination bodies as well as the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB), for direct entry candidates.

DIRECTOR OF STUDIES
Qualifications and Experience:
(i) B.Ed/B.Sc.(Ed.)/BA.(Ed.)/ BSc/BA; Minimum of Second Class (Honours), Upper
Division.
(ii) Master’s Degree in the relevant area.
(iii) Previous experience in Advanced Level Programme.
(iv) Proven leadership and organizational skills.
(v) Five(5) years classroom teaching experience and three(3) years
administrative experience.
(vi) Professional Certification
Added Advantage (preferred):
- Educational Leadership Degree.
- Experience in International setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Advanced Level Curriculum.
The candidate should:
- Have experience of International school systems.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative and digitally-focused environment.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have ability to establish and maintain a positive school climate.
- Have ability to lead a culturally diverse team.
- Have ability to prioritize students’ learning, enrolment and retention.
- Have experience of thorough curricular assessment.
- Have ability to use data in decision-making.
SUBJECT TEACHERS
Subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English Language,
Government, Economics, Business Studies, Literature in English, History, Christian Religious Knowledge and Geography.
Qualifications and Experience:
(i) B.Ed/B.Sc.(Ed)/BA.(Ed.)/B.Sc/BA; Minimum of Second Class (Honours), Upper Division.
(ii) Master’s Degree in the relevant area.
(iii) Knowledge of curriculum and instructional programmes.
(iv) Proven successful teaching experience
(v) Professional Certification.

- Have a flair for working with young people
