It was harvest time for the University as Emeka Offor Foundation and the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) took turns to enrich the Institution’s Library in an effort aimed at enhancing reading and research.

In the latest donation made penultimate Thursday, PTDF, through its Upgrade Programme component for supply of Books and Journal, made the contribution sequel to an earlier request made by the University, according to the Executive Secretary of the Fund, Dr Muttaqa Darma.

Conveying the donation in a Letter dated 2nd June, 2011, to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph Ajienka, Dr Darma listed the books to include copies of  Evaporites through Space and Time, Standard Handbook of Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering, Fundamentals of Natural Gas Processing Underground Gas Storage Facilities, Natural Gas Reservoir Engineering, Principle of Applied Reservoir Simulation and Deep-time Perspective on Climate Change, promising that “the remaining books and journal will be supplied as soon as they are available”.
