The purpose of different enterprises may vary, but all that are organized do rely on effective group operation for efficient attainment of whatever goals they may have. The Department of Management aims to deliver to students a good understanding of the fundamentals of formal organization and how they are managed. To achieve this goal require a judicious management of available resources as much as current rapid changes in the Nigerian business and economic context permit. For purpose of providing the high-level manpower to the nation, the Department has identified core Departmental and Faculty coursed for its students to be effective managers.
