Brief Profile:
Mr. Nelson Uwoh Sobere is a lecturer-in-Law at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He holds Master of Laws (LL.M) from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004. And he is a Ph.D student of the Faculty of Law, University of Nigeria Nsukka where he is currently undergoing a research in the area of Environmental Law with keen interest on Biodiversity Conservation. Prior to his appointment as a lecturer, he has been in active legal practice which has endowed him with practical knowledge of the law. His area of interest covers environmental law, oil and gas law, law of contractual obligations, law of tort etc. He is a member of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and has held some positions at the branch level. Some of his researched works are yet to be published.
