Brief Biography

Solomon Agan is an Academic Technologist I in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is passionate about integrating emerging technologies into teaching, learning, research, and professional practice.

He is the Founder and Lead AI Coach at G-SMART AI Academy, where he trains students, educators, researchers, and professionals on the ethical and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). His work focuses on AI literacy, prompt engineering, AI-assisted research, digital productivity, and educational technology.

With over two decades of teaching, mentoring, and technology experience, Solomon has facilitated AI training and digital skills workshops for students, academic staff, and professionals. He is committed to helping educational institutions and organizations harness AI to improve learning outcomes, research productivity, innovation, and administrative efficiency.

His research interests include Artificial Intelligence in Education, Educational Technology, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering Education, Digital Transformation, and AI Ethics. He is also actively involved in science communication, academic mentorship, and technology-driven capacity building.

Solomon holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Physics with Production Technology from the University of Port Harcourt and has earned several professional certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Digital Skills, and Emerging Technologies from reputable international organizations.

He continues to advocate for the responsible adoption of AI in education and works to bridge the gap between technology and academia through training, research, and innovation.
