NOTICE OF PUBLIC HOLIDAY
The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, 15th July, 2025 as public holiday in honour of Late Former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Accordingly, the University of Port Harcourt will remain closed on the said date. Normal activities will resume on Wednesday, 16th July, 2025.
Essential activities will however, be maintained in the various Faculties, Administrative and Technical Department Service Units as may be directed by the Provost/Deans/Head Concerned. Heads of Department Service Units should please ensure that members of Staff on essential duties maintain such services without interruption.
