Dear Members of the University of Port Harcourt Community, As the gentle hush of Christmas settles across our campus and the year comes to a close, we write with a heart filled with gratitude and profound appreciation to everyone who brings life, meaning, and dignity to this great institution.
This Christmas message to you all is the 5th and the last Christmas message from us in our tenure as Vice Chancellor of our unique Uniport.
With profound respect, we convey our warm yuletide felicitations to our dear Visitor, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for his leadership and continued support for the Nigerian Education System.

We extend warm Christmas greetings to our valued host communities, strategic partners, alumni and stakeholders your cooperation and goodwill continue to sustain peace and progress. We are grateful for your partnership, and enduring sense of shared destiny.
As we celebrate the birth of Christ, the ultimate symbol of love, sacrifice, humility, and hope, may this season renew our faith in one another and in the noble ideals that bind us as a family.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to you all for your dedicated services from January to December 2025. Through challenges and triumphs, uncertainties and breakthroughs, you stood firm. You taught, learned, served, protected, cleaned, guided, governed, and believed.
Your collective effort has strengthened and deepened our community spirit, and upheld the honour of UniPort as a beacon of excellence and character.
