Uniport Alumni Celebrate with Dr. & Dr. (Mrs.) G. W. Obah at Family Thanksgiving Ceremony
The University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association, Rivers State Chapter, once again demonstrated its strong sense of community and solidarity by attending the joyous family thanksgiving celebration of Dr. G. W. Obah, the 8th substantive Bursar of the University of Port Harcourt, and his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) G. W. Obah.
The event was honoured by the presence of Dr. Lizzy Amadi-Okah, President of the Rivers Chapter of the Alumni Association, who joined fellow alumni and dignitaries to celebrate this milestone with the Obah family. The occasion provided an opportunity for the alumni body to show support for one of Uniport’s dedicated administrators, whose service has significantly contributed to the financial stewardship and development of the University.

The thanksgiving celebration was a beautiful moment of gratitude and reflection, filled with warmth, prayers, music, and heartfelt tributes. This event further underscores the Alumni Association’s commitment to fostering unity, celebrating achievements, and maintaining lifelong connections among graduates and stakeholders of the University.
