University of Port Harcourt Alumni Represented at Book Launch by Prof. Emma Wonah
The University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association proudly continues to maintain a strong presence at key academic and intellectual events within and beyond the university community. A notable example was the recent book launch ceremony hosted in honour of Professor Emma Wonah of the Department of Political Science and Administrative Studies.
The event, which drew participants from academia, government, and civil society, was graced by the distinguished presence of Dr. Lizzy Amadi-Okah, the President of the Rivers State Chapter of the University of Port Harcourt Alumni Association. Dr. Amadi-Okah attended the event as a representative of the alumni body, underscoring the Association’s commitment to supporting scholarly achievements and celebrating the accomplishments of Uniport graduates and faculty members.
Her participation not only highlighted the enduring relationship between the University and its alumni but also reaffirmed the Alumni Association’s role as a bridge between past and present members of the Uniport community. The occasion provided an opportunity to celebrate academic excellence, foster intellectual discourse, and reinforce alumni engagement across chapters.
