Ashley Stewart is a graphic design researcher, educator and visual communication practitioner
whose work explores the intersections of African cultural heritage, design, technology and
storytelling. Her current projects focus on documenting and digitally preserving indigenous
artefacts through AI-assisted methods while foregrounding the native intelligence embedded in African communities. She is passionate about using design to bridge memory, culture and
innovation across generations.
