Oyebade Bukola Amoo

Brief Biography

Prof. Bukola Amoo OYEBADE holds Bachelor of Agricultural Technology in Forestry and Wood Technology from Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), Nigeria and Master of Science and Ph.D degrees in Forest Resources Management (Forest Biometrics and Inventory) from the premier University, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. 
At present, he is working on evaluation  and calibration empirical volume models of tree species within University Arboretum, University of Port Harcourt as well as Characterization of canopy structure within some exotic species at the  University Arboretum. As a professional forester, he is a member 
of both local and international forest associations and organizations including the International Society of Tropical Foresters (ISTF- USA), Forestry Association of Nigeria (LMFAN-Nigeria) and Forests and Forest Products Society of Nigeria (FFPS -Nigeria) and Tropical Biology Association, Nigeria (TBAN). In pursuance of excellence in his chosen field of interest, Prof. B.A.Oyebade has over Sixty research articles in reputable (local and international) journals to his credit and has attended several academic conferences where he presented papers on issues related to quantitative and sustainable management of forest ecosystems in Nigeria.
