Brief Biography

Dr. Mary Ofure Ig-Worlu is a dedicated lecturer and librarian at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where she focuses on quality teaching and helping students navigate the university’s extensive resources, including its e-Resources and specialized research materials.
She holds a PhD from the University of Uyo and has built an impressive career in library services, having served in leadership roles including Head of Acquisition, Head of Readers Services, Subject Librarian, and Head of the Thesis/Dissertation Unit. She currently coordinates the Centre Libraries and heads both the ACE-PUTOR Library and the Medical Library. A Chartered Librarian of Nigeria, Dr. Ig-Worlu is an active member of the Nigerian Library Association and the Association of Women Librarians in Nigeria, and has contributed to her field through conferences and scholarly publications
