Brief Biography

Odagme Niabari Stella is an accomplished Laboratory Scientist and Assistant Chief Technologist in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Port Harcourt. With over a decade of professional experience in laboratory science and academic support, she plays a vital role in facilitating practical-based learning and maintaining high standards of laboratory operations within the department.

She is responsible for coordinating practical sessions for undergraduate students, particularly in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, and oversees the preparation of reagents, solutions, and laboratory materials for teaching and research activities. In addition, she provides mentorship and technical training to students on industrial attachment from disciplines such as Biochemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, Plant Science, and Microbiology, as well as trainees from other institutions. 

Mrs. Stella holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Port Harcourt and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. She has participated in several professional conferences and training programmes organized by reputable scientific and academic bodies, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Known for her dedication, precision, and passion for research, she continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of laboratory education and scientific excellence at the University of Port Harcourt.
