PROFESSOR ESTHER FABIAWARI FOMSI

Esther F. Fomsi is a Professor of Educational Technology at the Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She majors in Instructional Design and Technology with special interest in the application of Artificial Intelligence in Education and Research. She attended the University of Port Harcourt, where she obtained B.Sc.(ed.) in Economics and was awarded the Best Graduating Student of the Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology. She obtained the Master of Education degree and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Educational Technology
from the same department. In 2016 she obtained a certificate in Instructional Design from the African Virtual University (AVU), Nairobi, Kenya. She has served in different capacities in the University of Port Harcourt. Outside the University, Prof. Fomsi has served as an examination invigilator for Cambridge International College (CIC) UK. She has also collaborated with the African Virtual University (AVU), Nairobi, Kenya where she served as e-Tutor in the Teacher Education Basic ICT skills certificate programme, Module Reviewer and Resource Person: Curriculum Mapping and Harmonization workshop. She has featured in several educational radio and television programmes in Nigeria and has facilitated several workshops on Digital Skills and Artificial Intelligence in Education and Research.
EZINNE ABE

Assoc. Prof. Ezinne Abe is a seasoned Lecturer of Educational technology, Faculty of education, University of Port Harcourt. She obtained her degrees from the University of Port Harcourt. Assoc. Prof Ezinne Abe has taught several courses at the undergraduate, and post graduate levels and supervised projects at both level too. she has served as course adviser from 2012- till date, and currently the exam officer of the department, she has attended several conferences and published in reputable peer reviewed journals, she has co- authored two textbooks in her area of specialization and has over 50 articles to her credit, she is a member of many professional and international associations, served as reviewer to foreign journals. She organizes and train teachers on workshops and seminars. She is happily married with children, her hobbies include reading, writing and traveling.
Nkeiruka Queendarline Nwaizugbu

Nkeiruka Queendarline Nwaizugbu is a Lecturer I in the Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology , Faculty of Education at the University of Port Harcourt. She holds a B.Sc. Ed in Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology/Political Science and an M.Ed in Educational Technology. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Technology, with a focus on leveraging innovative tools to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Nkeiruka specializes in training student teachers on the effective integration of digital resources and instructional strategies to improve learning experiences. Her research interests span online teaching and learning, mobile technologies in education, and optimizing learner engagement in classroom settings.
Dedicated to advancing education through technology, Nkeiruka has contributed to workshops, seminars, and academic publications on modern pedagogical practices. Her work aims to empower educators to harness digital tools for meaningful and impactful instruction.
Dr. Sandra Eberechukwu Augustine

Dr. Sandra Eberechukwu Augustine, born on April 30, 1984, hails from Amuvi in Arochukwu, Abia State, Nigeria. A dedicated educator, she holds a Ph.D. and has a robust academic background that includes an M.Ed. in Educational Technology, a PGDE, and a B.Tech in Industrial Microbiology. Dr. Augustine has been a lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt since 2011, progressing from Graduate Assistant to her current position as Lecturer I in the Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology. She is actively involved in various academic and non-academic roles, including serving as a project supervisor and course adviser. Dr. Augustine has contributed significantly to her field through numerous publications in reputable journals and book chapters, focusing on the integration of technology in education and innovative instructional strategies. Her research interests include students’ perceptions of technology in education, online instruction, digital literacy, instructional design and Artificial Intelligence. An active member of multiple professional associations, Dr. Augustine also contributes to the university’s committees, emphasizing educational advancements and facilities management. As a committed Christian, she balances her professional responsibilities with her family life, striving to inspire and prepare students for success in a rapidly changing educational landscape.
DR. EBERE PEARL EZEOGUINE

Dr. Ebere Pearl Ezeoguine is a Senior Lecturer in Educational Technology in the Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
EDUCATION
Dr. Ebere Pearl Ezeoguine obtained her First School Leaving Certificate in 1997 from Gaius Benton Primary school, Oko, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State. She graduated from University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria as the Best Graduating student in 2009/2010 Academic session, with B.Sc. (Ed.) in Computer Science, Distinctions in M.Ed (2014) and PhD (2018) in Educational Technology.
BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Ebere hails from Umuchu in Aguata Local Government Area in Anambra State. She is happily married to her husband, Mr. Uchenna Ezeoguine and they both have four (4) children.
RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS
Dr. Ebere has published over forty (40) scholarly articles including book chapters and conference proceedings.

Dr. Rebecca Yinka Kasumu

Dr. Rebecca Yinka Kasumu is a senior lecturer in the Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, University of Port Harcourt. She holds N.C.E in Computer Science and Physics from Federal College of Education (Technical) Omoku, B.Sc. Ed in Physics Education, M.Ed in Science Education (Physics), from the University of Port Harcourt, M.Ed in Educational Technology from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt and Ph.D in Educational Technology from the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State. She is a member of Curriculum Organization of Nigeria (CON), Nigerian Association for Educational Media and Technology (NAEMT), Nigerian Association for Educational Administration and Planning, Teachers Registration Council, African Academic Research Forum, Association for Innovative Integration in Education, Association of Nigerian Teachers, Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, Network for Educational Advancement and Development, International Association for Innovations in Educational Assessment. Dr. Rebecca Yinka Kasumu has to her credit several scholarly articles in reputable journals and has attended several conferences and workshops. She is happily married.
Uduak Solomon Idoghor

Uduak Solomon Idoghor (nee Friday Udoh) was born on 22nd January 1965 in Lagos State, Nigeria. She is from Ikot Akpan Eda in Oruk Anam LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
Idoghor holds qualifications as follows: PhD in Curriculum Studies from the University of Abuja and an LLB (Law) from same University. BL(2024), Port Harcourt. She also has Post Graduate Diploma(PGDGS) in Gender Studies from the University of Abuja.
She holds a BAed English (1987) and an Med from the University of Port Harcourt (1998)
Idoghor attended Union Secondary School (1981), Ibiaku, Itu in Akwa Ibom State and Visionary Secondary School, Dutse, Abuja.
She obtained her first School leaving Certificate from Command Children’s School, Ikeja (1976).
Idoghor has worked with several banks and financial Institutions, notably Century Merchant Bank, Apapa, Equitorial Trust Bank, Apapa, and friendship Finance, Ikeja, all in Lagos State.
She has also worked in the Education arm of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja (2001-2014).
She currently works in the Department of Curriculum Studies, faculty of Education, University of Port Harcourt where she teaches PhD, Med and undergraduates.
Idoghor currently has over 50 foreign and local publications to her credit.
She has represented Nigeria in several capacities including a cultural exchange programme called connecting classrooms programme sponsored by British Council, Abuja (2006), SchoolNet (2008) and a computer competition in Ghana sponsored by Microsoft Nigeria(2008).
