Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.sc) in Geography from Uniport, a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Environmental Management, RSUST. She equally holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Geography and Environmental Management which she obtained from the Uniport, specializing in Population, Gender and Transport Studies.

She is a lecturer in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management and also in Centre for Logistics and Transport Studies UNIPORT, Rivers State, Nigeria.                                                                          

 Actively engaged in teaching and supervising students, engaging in research activities, served in different administrative positions and community works. She is the immediate past President, University of Port Harcourt Women Association (UPWA). Under her visionary leadership, the UPWA International Secondary School was established, fully registered and approved.

A member of different Academic Associations receiving more than 25 awards.

She is happily married to Professor Steve Okodudu (immediate Past Ag. VC of University of Port Harcourt). They are blessed with two sons and one daughter. She is a dedicated wife and mother, a quintessential lady, an academic, a pacesetter.
