Mr. Eruotor Ogheneochuko Harrison is a confirmed staff of the University of Port Harcourt, department of Human Physiology, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, and College of Health Sciences. He assumed duty as a technologist 2 in the year 2007. His appointment was confirmed by the university authority on Wednesday 5th November 2010. Also, it was transferred to pensionable appointment on Monday 27th September 2010 by appointment and promotion committee.
His status was reviewed from technologist 2 to medical laboratory scientist 1 on 22nd February 2012.
He was promoted to a rank of a chief medical lab scientist level 12 step 1 in the year 2016 in the department of human physiology.
He converted to academic cadre in October 17th 2022 from chief medical laboratory scientist to assistant lecturer in the department of medical laboratory science, faculty of allied health sciences, college of health sciences, University of Port Harcourt effect from 1st February 2022.
He has the following academic qualification:

DR. AUSTIN EDACHE ABAH
DR. AUSTIN EDACHE ABAH is an active teacher, avid researcher and a compulsive advocate of community development. His research interest is centred around Medical Parasitology especially Neglected Tropical Diseases, Malaria, and their mapping using Geographical Information System and Biorisk Management. His goal is to intentionally impact his immediate environment, community, the larger society and humanity positively and to contribute significantly to the growth of any organization he finds himself in.
He is currently an Associate Professor /researcher and the acting Head of the Department Medical Laboratory Science, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Port Harcourt. He has taught courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels and has supervised over 200 undergraduate projects and many graduate dissertations (M.Sc) and thesis (PhD).
He worked as both Medical Laboratory Scientist and Science Laboratory Technologist where he rose to the rank of Chief laboratory Scientist. He was Assistant Director of Institute of Science Laboratory Technology 2010-2011: Chairman, National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) 20062010; Chairman, Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists Nigeria, Uniport Chapter 2017- 2022, Representative of congregations, University of Port Harcourt Governing Council Committee on Appointment and Promotions (SPATS) 2005-2013, University of Port Harcourt among other numerous positions of responsibilities in the University. He was the Zonal Coordinator, Nigerian Biological Safety Association, South-South Zone June 2020 – November 2023. He is the Rivers State Coordinator Parasitology and Public Health Society(PPSN) 2022-Date.
Dr. Abah has attended over 20 professional training both locally and internationally and has presented several papers at many conferences from studies centred on Trichomoniasis, Schistosomiasis, Fasciolasis, Toxoplasmosis, Intestinal parasitic infections and Malaria and has over 60 Journal articles in peer review journals both locally and internationally.
Dr. Austin Abah is a member of many professional associations among which are: Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (FNISLT). Fellow, Nigeria Biological Safety Association (FNiBSA). Associate member, Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN). Member, Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria. Member, Society for Conservation of GIS.
AARON, UMASOYE UDOGADI
Vision Statement of Dr. Aaron Umasoye U is to develop professional excellence in diagnostics and academics to serve humanity.
Aaron U. U. is a male born in Okoma 1 town, Ahoada-East local government area of Rivers State to Mr. & Mrs. Aaron Udogadi on the 4th of December, 1980 and he is married with six lovely children. He attended the Sacred Heart State School 1, Port Harcourt (1986-1992) (FLSC), Community Secondary School, Okporowo-Ekpeye, Ahoada-East, Rivers State (1992-1999) (WASSCE), Rivers State University (2001) (Diploma in Desk Top Publishing), Rivers State University (2008) (B.MLS), Medical Laboratory Science Council (2010) (AMLSCN), River State University (2014-2017) (MSC), University of Port Harcourt (2018-2022) (PhD). I have attended several conferences/workshops locally and internationally to include Infection prevention, control & HCWM Training, UPTH (2016), International Malaria colloquium, Uniport (2016), Culture of Responsibility in Research, Port Harcourt (2018), International conference of ISCEST, Port Harcourt (2018), Quality Control/Assurance training, Lagos (2020), COVID 19 Training (2020), MARMORA International Conference, Istanbul, Turkey (2021), Asian Virology Education Forum, China (2021), etc. He is a Biosafety Professional and member, Nigerian Biosafety Association. Recently developed research in Cancer Immunogenetic Epidermiology and associated conditions where he is the convener of the University of Port Harcourt Cancer and Associated Environmental Toxicology Research Group as well as the Convener of the Port Harcourt Cancer Research Group. Dr. Aaron Umasoye Udogadi is the current Chairman, Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) University of Port Harcourt Chapter.
