Maduamaka Cyriacus Abajue, PhD.
Maduamaka Cyriacus Abajue is a distinguished research scholar with passion in teaching and community service. M.C. Abajue obtained his B.Sc. (Zoology, 2008), M.Sc. (Entomology, 2012) and Ph.D. (Forensic Entomology, 2016) at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria. He is a crusader of environmental sustainability and a vanguard of peace and justice via forensic entomology. M.C. Abajue is a registered member of Zoological Society of Nigeria (ZSN), Entomological Society of Nigeria (ESN), and Society for Occupational Safety and Environmental Health (SOSEH). He was a trained participant in the maiden and the second workshops of the Nebrsaka Institute of Forensic Sciences, USA in collaboration with Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria in 2014 and 2017 respectively. He has published over twenty research papers in both local and international peer reviewed journals covering forensic entomology, ecology/environmental entomology and apiculture. His research interest is not limited to forensic entomology but include breeding insects for animal feed, biodiversity and ecology of insects of medical importance. M.C. Abajue likes reading, swimming and travelling. Maduamaka Cyriacus Abajue joined the academic service of the Department of Animal and Environmental Biology, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 2017.
