Uniport Clinches 2nd Place in Financial Analyst Competition

Four students from the Faculties of Management and Social Sciences have emerged second runner up at the just concluded Chartered Financial Analyst competition organised by First Bank. The event, which started in 2016, is an annual competition for students in Nigeria.
Receiving the awardees in his Office on Friday, November 11, 2022, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Owunari Abraham Georgewill commended the participants, urging them to do more in future competitions and to continue to be good ambassadors of the University.
On his part, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Development, Professor Iyeopu Siminialayi hailed the students, for being resilient and clinching the prize, despite participating in the competition for the first time. He admonished them not to rest on their oars, but to constantly endeavour to bring more laurels to the University.
The students are Goodluck Anosike, Anthony Victor, Favour Ibe from the Department of Finance & Banking, and Egilembofen Awodu from the Department of Economics.
