WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
It gives me much pleasure to welcome you to this official website of the University of Port Harcourt Foundation (UPHF). The Foundation, being responsible for both fund raising activities and fund investment management, has the primary role of supporting the University to actualize her mission and vision statements.
It is no more a secret that governments at all levels have not been able to provide all the financial needs of her academic institutions. The situation is not different at the University of Port Harcourt. However, more importantly to note here is the fact that zero tolerance for corruption will guarantee availability of the scarce resources for meaningful productivity.
The University of Port Harcourt Foundation (UPHF) stands for ‘no room for corruption’ so as to ensure maximal impact while working with the slogan: ‘giving where your gift works the work.’ Our Foundation is ready to collaborate with you to ensure that your intention for every donation is met.
Not only our beloved Alumni are warmly encouraged to be in partnership with us, but corporate bodies and all philanthropic minds globally, as well as every patriotic Nigerian. Bring it on and we are ready to work with you to make your statements in support of our University loud and clear.
Thank you.
Signed
Professor Chukwudi O. Onyeaso, FWACS, FWFO, MICS, MSIL, D.Sc (Honoris Causa), FIMC, CMC
