ADMISSION INTO POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES FOR 2023/2024 SESSION

We offer the following Programmes

• Master in Power Systems Engineering (M.Eng Power Systems Engineering)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Power Systems Engineering (PGD Power Systems Engineering)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for the M.Eng Programme Shall possess a B.Eng degree in Electrical /Electronic Engineering with a Second class lower division. For graduate of mechanical and Civil Engineering who may be interested in power generation, transmission and distribution, must possess a second class upper division, with a CGPA of not less than 3.5 on a 5 point scale.

Candidates for the PGD must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of third Class Honour in Electrical/ Electronic, Mechanical and Civil Engineering (or HND with Upper Credit). Graduates of Physics and Mathematics are also eligible to apply.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME AND SCHEDULE

The Programme is modular and a minimum of 12 Calendar months for full time and a maximum of 24 calendar months for Part Time. The programme combines taught courses, Industrial attachment and Research courses taught by both experienced Academics, Industry experts and Government Personnel.
