Mr. Deekor Tornubari Niieni graduated from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, B.Sc Hons, Geography & Regional Planning (1990) and is currently a PhD research student at the University of Ibadan. He also has MSc in Biogeography (University of Port Harcourt, 2004). He was a lecturer at the Kebbi State college of Preliminary Studies (1994-1996). Mr. Deekor is a member of various reputable professional bodies including; Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG), Nigerian Environmental Society (NES) and the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (S.T.A.N)
